Just as a thought experiment, imagine the reaction in Denver if Seattle won the Superbowl with Lock under center. Obviously the chance of that happening is worse than Denver ripping three straight championships with Wilson under center. But it's fun to imagine Lock and a bunch of other retreads making their old teams look silly.
I never usually watch post-practice interviews (apparently everyone is always competing) and would not usually attempt to scrape meaning from Coachspeak, but - Waldron's last comment on Lock "finishing strong and keeping that level-headed mindset through the course of the day". An inadvertant hint at Lock's shortcomings when it comes to maintaining focus?
Smith and Lock might be struggling but we should take time to enjoy the fretting of Niner fans over the possible shortcomings of Trey Lance. Our turn will no doubt come next year!

Great update, bring back the CHIP, David’s ready for Goliath!
SeaJoe community thanks you, KenJoe, and we await more insightful coverage.
Part of each camp comment I see - Hawks will be FAST -
and Penny at 237 sounds really strong, considering his speed and “wiggle.”
I am worried, and doubly so. Is the defense good, or is it just that the offense is atrocious? My optimism says both, but I may be wrong.
