I believe/believed in Pete but I think Mike Holmgren brought respect to this organization in the early years of Paul Allen (post Bering debacle). Also liked Chuck Knox who brought no nonsense hard nose football to the Northwest, even though during those years our superbowl was when we beat the OAKLAND Raiders! No illusions here, Pete is getting up there in age. I admire John Schneider and hope he gets an opportunity to control the team and select his own coaching staff (post Pete) to see if he can go down as our greatest GM

I am "ride or die" with Pete, who brought the Seahawks to TWO SBs and won one, which is one more appearance and SB title than anyone else who has coached the team. I have actually read "Win Forever" and loved it.

As for 2nd best team... I grew up not far from Detroit and, sad to say, the Lions are my 2nd team. They have been so bad for soooo long that it gives great perspective on how the last decade has been for the Seahawks (and more reason why I appreciate Pete).

My 2nd team is the Jets also. My sis in-law is from NYC and a long time Jets and Seahawks fan (they even have JETS on their front door mat, which is bold in Seahawks country!). It's fun to compare teams. Plus, I like what Selah is doing there. I have to give him credit for leaving the 49rs!

If anybody knows what Russell Wilson doesn't like it will be Pete Carroll, that and our defense are showing some teeth. There will be no game easier to get jacked for than the Denver Bronco's coming to town. I would hope Russell gets a big ovation and then gets personally acquainted with the flubber at Lumen field quickly and often. Take the outside away and force him to throw over the middle. What would be really special would be a quarterback dual with Lock coming out on top. We can always dream on a day off .

I like Pete. I think he's a John Wooden type of coach that wants to build up a young man believing that makes a greater ball player. He believes in a team effort, and if he could have QB just be one of the guys, he'd be in glory.

I don't think we're run first any more than SF or LAR. All three teams want ball control offenses with stingy, tough defenses.

Don't have a second team. I watch the Hawks only. Yes, I've become THAT guy.

I have never really had one second favorite team. There is always one like the Bengals last year that catch my imagination

I'm kinda like you Kenneth, in that my 2nd favorite team (always an AFC team) changes over time. Sometimes I'll stick with one for years and sometimes it changes over the course of a single season. I've been a Chargers fan the last few years. I live in Cali now and who else can you cheer for?

I think we Seahawks fans might be conditioned to root for underdogs because we're so often overlooked by national media. It sure is fun to imagine the Jets unseating New England for a playoff spot and perhaps giving Buffalo some problems. I voted no to having a second favorite team, but that doesn't mean I don't have opinions about every team in the league.

This offseason was really good. The future will be even better. I’m from Richmond Virginia and I loved Russ for about 8.5 years. When his play started to suffer, and the blame seemed to fall onto the OCs and he seemingly refused to acknowledge his own limitations things started to change for me. I believe Denver will overpay for him and eventually regret it. Was that an over share?

There’s severe tendinitis in Stafford’s elbow (I’ll be surprised if makes half the games unless they are going to fill him with cortisone), Trey Lance who cost three 1sts (three!) and could yet be a complete liability and Kyler Murray, whose team felt they required an independent film study clause to be put into his contract and is probabl GB even saltier than ever.

Hilariously, we might might actually end up having the BEST QB situation in the NFCW.

My second favorite team is the Minnesota Vikings. The first NFL game I ever saw was Super Bowl XI. As a seven year old I liked Minnesota over Oakland based on uniforms. Lol. That game didn’t work out but I didn’t care.

Second favorite team is the dolphins. My best friend in high school claimed them because he loved using Ricky Williams in Madden. Now I just have a soft spot for em I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There’s also some Viking “blood” in my family so I always kinda root for them.
