My favorite Seahawks-Chiefs game has to be the one in 1990 where Derrick Thomas sacked Dave Krieg a record number of seven times, but ol' Mudbone eluded what looked like it would be the eighth and threw the winning touchdown. That was real never-say-die football there.

My favorite Hawks Chiefs game was their last meeting in Seattle. In a high scoring battle on TV for all of North America to watch (I'm Canadian but as the Hawk flies only 70 miles from Lumen field. Who or what is Lumen ?

The 15 wins out of 17 tries vs the Niners is an amazing record considering the last loss came up half a yard short.

I just can't predict our record, if we can sign or trade for another stud along our front seven then I could see us have a winning record. Why did the Hawks restructure Shelby Harris's deal freeing up $3 million. We don't need it to sign DK. Who is left in free agency who could make a difference? It could be Baker but, I don't see Baker making us more than a game, maybe two better.

Second place KC vs Seattle the time Dave Kreig got sacked 10 times, but still pulled out a win on a TD pass to Paul Skanzy. I believe Derrick Thomas had 7 of those sacks and should of had 8 but missed Kreig on the winning score

The ‘Hawks enter December in the middle of a rugged stretch of games. While their record may not reflect this, they will be much-improved since Week 1.

@LAR: Someday, someway…but not this season. (0-1/4-8)

CAR: It’s become a lock that at some point in the season. the ‘Hawks will lay a dinosaurian egg. They could do that against the Kittens and still win. (1-1/5-8)

SF: While the ‘Hawks recent history is great, LockSmith puts the team at Year 0. This is one of those games where they could show how much they’ve improved, play well, and still lose. Plus, the scores have been a lot closer in recent years. (1-2/5-9)

@KC: The Chiefs will be in a dogfight for best AFC record and will still not have clinched their division. Let’s not get our hopes up. (1-3/5-10)

Worst team in the NFL? Between four teams: Houston Jacksonville Carolina and Giants. I know most writers have Jacksonville better than bottom 4 but it’s start over again and need a new culture — which was bad before Urban Meyer. So I added them to the mix. Push comes to shove, it’s between Houston (whose culture is even worse) and Carolina I guess. Is that close to agreeing with you? Just feels like Houston is in such bad shape….and I do think Carolina is going to grab one of Mayfield or Garoppolo. So I’m talking myself into Houston being the worst, I guess.

It would be tough following the Jags. I'm a life long Canucks fan. At least we made the final 3 times and game 7 twice haha

That would be great ! Otherwise why free up that money if your not going to spend it. The Seahawks impose rules on themselves so that they are not out of round for future years. However when you look at the Rams and others we don't compete. This may not be the year as there is pretty slim pickings. It's called cash over cap, which allows you to sign anybody and amortize it over 5 years say with two being dummy years. As long as you can afford to award the money NOW. We have Allen money so we can afford to write as many $60 million cheques as you want. We could have kept Frank Clarke maybe they knew he was dangerous with weapons. Our $60 million to buy players next year is good but spend the extra $20 or $30 the cap is going up

It has a real chance at 1-3. SF runs forcefully, and Wagner played really good against the 9ers. Maybe his favorite team to play against. It's a fair concern about our run stop defense right now. I could see a lot of Adams tackling guys 18 yards downfield and still jumping around like he just won a championship.

Strangely, I like our chances against LAR more than SF right now. Blythe, while light in the pants, does know that line, and we can get DK and Fant behind Wagner and their suspect middle. If LAR game planned to pass against our 'young' corners, and it's the time of the season they start finding their way, I don't know, maybe?

Being at Carolina doesn't help. But gotta find Ws somewhere because I don't think the Hawks are a 3 or 4 win team.

Now to go back on my earlier comments, getting SF in Seattle on a short week helps the Hawks, I believe. They play a pretty rugged TB team this Sunday prior so maybe Seattle gets a momentum grabbing W in Charlotte then comes home feeling good about themselves? Mmmm, probably not.

1-3.

In a series that's been so lopsided, winning the first 3 games out of the gate is good. The first season KC was bad, but the Hawks were expansion so that's my favorite. A shoot out. Funny, I still have sports hate for the AFC West. I don't like any of those teams, at all. I don't like the 9ers, but now Arians is gone, Az doesn't bother me (although I LOVED seeing LAR destroy Murray in the playoffs), and LAR doesn't really bother me either, as I do enjoy watching Cupp, Stafford's fine, and I respect AD's game.

While I know you're still crushing on McCall's upside, it sounds like when it comes to QBs next year, there's Bryce Young and then there's everybody else. Are his skills that good? I'm asking because we heard that Trevor Lawrence was supposed to be a generational talent and I'm still not sure of his talent. I know there aren't any guarantees, but it sounds like Young has more going for him than what I've seen from Lawrence to date. Maybe it's just Jacksonville, Jake?
